Kara Poirier scored 16 points to lead the Pipers (8-10 overall, 8-7 MIAC) to a 10-point road win over No. 12 ranked St. Thomas (13-5, 11-4), ending St. Thomas' 23-game home court win streak.

St. Thomas has lost three in a row -- all in the last six days. It's UST's longest losing streak in six seasons, and has dropped the Toms from first place into a share of fourth place, two games behind first-place Concordia-Moorhead.

UST's Anna Smith had 11 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, and Kelly Brandenburg scored 13 for the Toms. UST led 38-36 but a 16-3 Piper run changed the game. UST went nearly 10:00 without a field goal in the second half.

Jordan Sammons added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Pipers, who avenged an 18-point loss to the Tommies back on Dec. 1. Hamline posted a 46-34 rebounding advantage.

St. Thomas shot just 35 percent from the floor and missed 10 of its last 20 free throws.
