Gwynedd-Mercy Posts 87-26 Win Over Cedar Crest

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy bounced back Monday night with an impressive 87-26 win over visiting Cedar Crest at the Griffin Complex. Junior guard Jordan Dominic led all scorers with personal-bests of 20 points and 11 rebounds to notch her first career double-double.

The Griffins (11-6, 7-1) paced three more players in double figures; sophomore Shea Wassel and freshman Chandler DiFebbo each recorded 15 points for the game. Wassel connected on (7-of-9) field goals from the floor and DiFebbo connected on three three-pointers. Freshman Olivia Bradford added 11.

GM jumped out to an early 12-2 lead after a Dominic three pointer. The Griffins wouldn't look back using an 18-0 run to close out the half capped off by a Dominic buzzer beater from just beyond half court to take a 41-12 lead into the break.

Dominic was at it again extending the Griffins to a 50-12 lead closing out a 9-0 spurt with one of her four three pointers on the evening. GM would shoot over 50% in the second to help nail down the win.

Gwynedd shot 48.6% (36-of-74) from the field and connected on 10 three pointers. The Griffins held Cedar Crest to just 26.8% (11-of-41) shooting and forced 26 Falcon turnovers which led to 37 points on the other end of the floor.

Cedar Crest (2-16, 1-9) was led by DeJanet Lantion with eight points.
