Mouzon, Bandrowski Post Double-Doubles In Win

Senior Mariah Mouzon (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) posted her fourth double-double while junior Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, NY/Center Moriches) added her first career double-double to power the Keuka College women's basketball team past the College of St. Elizabeth, 71-61 Sunday afternoon in Morristown, NJ.

Mouzon scored 19 points with 14 rebounds while Bandrowski filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 7 steals and 6 rebounds to lead the Storm (10-2, 7-1 North Eastern Athletic Conference).

Mouzon made 11 of 14 free throws as the Green and Gold shot 74.1 percent (29-for-39) on free throws.

Junior Danielle Gravel (Sidney, NY/Sidney) scored 15 points with five rebounds and sophomore Erica Pendrak (Utica, NY/New York Mills) added 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists for Keuka.

St. Elizabeth (6-8, 4-4) led 17-8 before the Green and Gold used a 12-4 run, capped by a pair of Pendrak free throws, to pull within 21-20.

Trailing 30-27, senior Montana McDonald (Romulus, NY/Romulus) was fouled on a jumper and converted the free throw to tie the game heading into halftime.

Gravel knocked down a '3' to give the Storm a 39-38 lead five minutes into the second half. Gravel connected on two more three-pointers to stake Keuka to a 45-38 lead with 13:18 remaining.

St. Elizabeth pulled within 58-54 with 4:48 to play, but Gravel made four free throws, Mouzon made a pair and Pendrak added a free throw as the Storm closed out the game sinking seven of their last eight free throws to remain in first place.

Cheyenne Grant scored 21 points, Kelly O'Dell added 15 rebounds and Amerisse Rogers had 12 points for St. Elizabeth.

The Storm travels to Cazenovia for a 5 p.m. NEAC contest Wednesday night.
