The victory was the fourth straight for the Nor'easters, who retain the top spot in the conference standings with an unblemished 7-0 mark (10-4 overall). The Lions fall to 7-6, 3-4 in league play.

Sophomore Kelly Coleman (Portland, Conn.) scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the way for UNE. Senior Beth Suggs (Bath, Maine) recorded her ninth double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. She also had three of Big Blue's 15 steals. Senior Liz LeBlanc (Jay, Maine) came off the bench to score nine points in 12 minutes.

For Eastern Nazarene, junior Presley Neufeld (Seattle, Wash.) scored all of her team-high 17 points before halftime. She was 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Senior Mel Green (Annapolis, Md.) added seven points.

UNE held the Lions scoreless over the initial 6:36 of the second frame while reeling off 16 unanswered points to turn a one-point deficit into a 15-point (44-29) advantage. Suggs and Coleman each had a pair of buckets during the run, which culminated with a three-pointer by first-year Alanna Vose (Cushing, Maine).

After a traditional three-point play by junior Abbie Tonello (Bourne, Mass.) gave ENC's its first points of the half, the Nor'easters strung together 15 points to establish a commanding 59-32 bulge with 5:07 remaining.

Big Blue limited the Lions to three second-half field goals and just 14.3 percent (3 of 21) accuracy from the floor.

For the game, UNE led 50-29 on the glass while forcing the visitors into 29 turnovers. The Nor'easters turned 24 offensive boards into 15 second-chance points.

Both teams return to play Thursday evening. Eastern Nazarene travels to Curry College, while UNE heads to Endicott College for a clash between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the CCC standings.
