Women's Basketball Falls Short in Consolation Game

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- The York College women's basketball team lost to Wesley College, 56-30, in the consolation game of the Gallaudet University Holiday Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Cardinals couldn't overcome their offensive struggles, committing 42 turnovers as a team. Junior center Danielle Dunn led York with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Vania St. Louis had eight points and four rebounds.
 
Senior guard Jazmine Miller led the Wolverines with 23 points, ten steals, and eight assists. Wesley improved to 1-4 with the win.  
 
York (0-4) is back in action on Tuesday when they play on the road against the College of Staten Island at 5:30 pm.
