Marymount Women’s Basketball Falls at Former CAC Rival Catholic

Washington, D.C. – Marymount University's women's basketball team fell 72-59 to former Capital Athletic Conference rival Catholic on Tuesday night.  The Saints drop to 1-2 overall on the season.

 

Katelyn Fischer led the Saints with 19 points and game-high nine assists.  Tynisha Parks added 17 points while Dominique Dickens chipped in 10 off the bench.

 

Miranda Krott led all players with 13 rebounds.  Parks added seven.

 

For the Cardinals (3-0), Jill Woerner scored a game-high 23 points while Kelli Josephsen, Emily Grabiak and Jenny McGann all added 10 each.  Katarina Owunna led CUA with 11 rebounds.
