GALLOWAY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Four players reached double figures for Richard Stockton College as the Ospreys built a 50-21 halftime lead and cruised to a 97-56 win over New Jersey City University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference women's basketball game on Saturday afternoon at the Stockton Sports Center.

 

Stockton (10-4, 3-2 NJAC), set a season high in points while giving head coach Joe Fussner his 299th career win in 20 seasons. NJCU (3-11, 0-5 NJAC) lost its sixth in a row. Stockton won for the 18th straight meeting between the schools

since 1998 and leads the all-time series 39-12.

 

In defeat, rookie guard Jade Medley (Newark, NJ/Hudson Catholic) came off the bench to score a team-high 11 points (4-8 FG) and junior guard Gabrielle Rivera (Teaneck, NJ/Saint Joseph of the Palisades) added 10 points and five assists.
