Brooklyn, NY- The Lady Cougars fell to CCNY 83-29 on Friday January 20, 2012 at MEC. The loss dropped MEC to 2-15 Overall and 0-6 CUNYAC, while CCNY led 3-14 Overall and 1-4 CUNYAC.

The Lady Cougars started the game on a 7-0 run. CCNY would counter and tie the game at 7 with 16:31 to go in the half. After Chantal Biscette made a free throw to make the score 8-7 (16:15 left in the half, CCNY would take the lead and not give it up for the rest of the game.

In the loss, Yvanna Jack led the Lady Cougars with 17pts, grabbed 15 rebounds and recorded an assist. Chantal Biscette scored 6pts and grabbed 6 rebounds. She also recorded an assist, a block, and 4 steals.

CCNY was led by Donika Rexhepi who scored 18pts. Syreeta Williams scored 18pts, Farah Said scored 12pts, and Sajidah Pressley scored 10pts.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday January 25, 2012 when they take Baruch College at  Baruch. Game time against the Bearcats are 5:30pm.
