The Albion College women's basketball team continues to improve with every game they play and Monday night was no different in a decisive 73-41 victory over the College of Wooster. The victory was the Britons' fourth in as many games.

Albion wasted no time by jumping out to a 14-5 lead just over four minutes into the game courtesy of senior guard Nicole Dennis' 5-for-5 shooting performance during that span. Dennis finished the game with a game-high 18 points in just 20 minutes of action.

The Britons continued to pour on the points and shot 50 percent from the field in the opening half en route to a 44-18 halftime lead.

Not much changed in the second half for the Britons as they were able to utilize all of their players and ten of the Britons scored at least one point. Sophomore guards Brett deBear and Tanner Johnson along with first year guard Taylor Nugent all joined Dennis in double figures.

DeBear had 10 points to go along with three assists, Johnson finished with 10 points and three rebounds, and Nugent poured in 10 points and dished out four assists.

Albion's defense was also a key factor in the blowout victory, which may have been the Britons' best performance so far this season, as they forced 31 turnovers and blocked four shots.

The women's basketball team is back in action Dec. 30 when they travel to California to take on William Smith and then Northwestern (Minn.) in back-to-back days. Tip-offs are set for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET respectively.
