Freshman guard Mary Merg, for the first time this season, led the Warhawks in scoring with 15 points.  Kumerow added ten, and senior center Dana Thompson led both teams with 11 boards.  Thill topped both teams with six assists and five steals.  Platteville was led by Callahan's ten points and three blocked shots, and sophomore forward Ashley Henry chipped in with nine rebounds.

Whitewater honored fourteen women who earned all-America honors in the last calendar year during a halftime ceremony.

UW-W, ranked twenty-third in the D3hoops.com poll, improved to 16-5 overall and 8-4 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  Platteville is 5-18, 1-12.  Whitewater will host UW-Eau Claire Saturday at 6:00 in Kachel Gym of Williams Center.  Saturday's game is the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game, with pink the preferred color for attire and accessories.
