GREENSBORO, N.C. (1/14/11) -- Freshman Gabby Oglesby notched a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds in Guilford College's 94-86 double-overtime win over Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC)-rival Eastern Mennonite University Saturday afternoon in the Ragan-Brown Field House. It was a competitive game which featured 14 ties and 17 lead changes.

The second half was a back-and-forth affair. Guilford appeared in control when Brittany Atwater hit a three-pointer with 50 seconds left on the clock to push the Quakers' lead to 72-67. However a quick basket by Eastern Mennonite's Shandell Taylor and a steal on the inbound pass led to a desperation three-pointer by Stephanie Rheinheimer. She was fouled on the play and converted all three free throws. Atwater missed a pair of free throws in the final two seconds that sent the game into overtime tied at 72.

The first overtime saw both teams take small leads. Logan Terry's two free throws put the Quakers up by three with two minutes to go, but the Royals cut the lead to one on a layup by Bianca Ygarza. Rheinheimer drilled a three-pointer with nine seconds remaining to give the Royals a two-point lead. Atwater was fouled with one second on the clock and sank two free throws to tie the game at 81 and force a second overtime.

The final stanza saw Oglesby take control of the game scoring four points, hitting both of her free throws, blocking two shots, grabbing a rebound, and dishing out a big assist to Kayla Adams, who hit a three-pointer that extended the Quakers' lead to 90-85 with 1:39 left in the game.

In a balanced scoring attack, Guilford (8-6, 4-5 ODAC) had six different students score in double digits. The Quakers took a 41-36 lead into halftime behind 11 of Morgan King's 13 points. Oglesby scored 10 first-half points and finished with a school-record six blocks in the Quakers' win. She now has 37 blocks on the year, one shy of the Guilford standard. Jazlyn Gibbs recorded a game-high seven assists to go along with 13 points.

Eastern Mennonite (8-6, 6-3 ODAC) was led Rheinheimer and Danielle Rittenhouse, who had 18 and 16 points, respectively. Ygarza chipped in nine points and hauled in a game-high 15 rebounds.

The Quakers return to action on the road Tuesday (1/18) at ODAC-rival Emory & Henry College in a 7:00 p.m. game.
