LANCASTER, PA - The women's basketball team started out the new year in near identical fashion as the group closed out 2010. Unfortunately,Wednesday's deja-vu experience resulted in the squad dropping a double-digit loss to Lancaster Bible College, this time by a 51-35 margin.

With exactly a month hiatus between skirmishes, the Crimson Eagles once against struggled to find their shooting touch during their most recent affair against their NCCAA East Region counterpart, putting just 22.2 percent of their field goal attempts through the hoop for the game.

With the 3-point line traditionally a strong suit for the squad, PBU connected on just one of 11 long range snipes for the game while drilling just eight total field goals from the floor. Lancaster limited the Crimson Eagles to 14 first half points, building up a 25-14 edge by the time the first 20 minutes had expired.

The Crimson Eagles used pressure on the defensive end to help force the host group into 22 turnovers for the contest but the Chargers' 38.0 percent shooting clip was good enough to help LBC grind past PBU for their first triumph in three games.

Dani Bradley-Wilson posted game highs of 18 points and 13 boards including nine snags on the offensive glass. Careth Herron chipped in with 10 and eight, respectively.

The basketball team will return to action on Thursday during a make-up contest with Penn State Brandywine on the road at 7:00 pm.
