PITTSBURGH, PA (January 8, 2011) . . . The Chatham University women's basketball team returned to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action today with a home match-up against Geneva College. The Cougars allowed 71 points from their opponent and fell by a score of 71-70 today. Due to Geneva's NCAA Division III provisional status, the results do not count towards overall PAC action.

Geneva held the lead by two at halftime and had the lead 60-44 with 12:12 remaining in the game before Chatham out-scored the Golden Tornadoes 13-1 over the next three minutes to cut the lead to four points. Geneva pushed the lead back to 10 points with just under six minutes remaining, but Chatham again cut the lead to one, scoring the next 11 of 12 points.
