Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (3-2, 2-0 CUNYAC) shot 52% from the field, while holding their opponent, City Tech (0-4, 0-2 CUNYAC) to an abysmal 18% shooting in their 74-28 victory at the West Quad on Thursday evening.  The win was the Bulldogs third straight and second consecutive conference victory.

Brooklyn scored the game's first first four points as a Justine O'Callahan (Floral Park / Floral Park, NY) layup gave her team a 4-0 lead just 20 seconds into the game.

The Yellow Jackets' Erica Simon (Harvey Milk / Brooklyn, NY) answered right back with an easy bucket of her own to cut the lead to 4-2, but it would be all Brooklyn after that as Brooklyn outscored Tech 31-13 for the remainder of the half to lead by 20, 35-15.

The second half saw the Brooklyn dominance grow stronger as two Elisha Raiford (William C. Bryant / Long Island City, NY) baskets, followed by two buckets from O'Callahan, pushed the BC lead to 43-15, forcing City Tech to call a 30 second timeout. The stoppage of play did not help much as the Bulldogs went on a 25-7 run, giving the home team their biggest lead of the game, 46, as the scoreboard read 68-22.

Gracie Plagainos (Curtis / Staten Island, NY) would lead all scorers with 15 points, while hitting on four three-pointers.  Raiford notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards, while only seeing 20 minutes of action.

O'Callahan was the third Bulldog in double-figures with 12 points and 8 boards.Senior guard Ariel Smith (Wallkill / Newburgh, NY) had game-highs with 7 assists and 5 steals.

Ryan Reeder (Bronx Leadership / Bronx, NY)
came off the BC bench to chip in with 8 points and 2 steals, while Ashley Allen (William C. Bryant / Sunnyside, NY) also came up big in a reserve role with 5 assists.

Christine Jackson (East Brooklyn Congregation / Brooklyn, NY) led Tech with 10 points.
