Millsaps led the entire game, as they capitalized on 21 turnovers by the Tigers.

Turnovers were the story of this game as Millsaps took advantage on ten first half turnovers by Colorado College. The Majors capitalized quickly with Shatoya Whites two steals, as the Majors went on a 7-0 run, making it 10-2. Kristin Salmon sparked the Majors with seven first half points, as Millsaps led by as much eight points throughout the first half (21-13), but the Tiger's pulled within four at the half to make it 29-25, as they took control of the offensive boards.

The Majors started off the second half with stronger defense from Shatoya White as she racked up another two steals as the Majors went on a 10-0 run to put Millsaps up 41-29. Millsaps Shante Morton did not let up on the Tigers as she had nine second half points off the bench. Millsaps went on another 10-0 run late to keep the Majors in the lead 55-35, giving Millsaps their biggest lead of the day. Despite an 8-0 run by the Tigers near the end of the second half, the Majors hold on to win 56-43.

The Majors were led by Shante Morton who had 16 points and 7 rebounds off the bench. Majors Janice Okeke, and Elizabeth Sigafoose both combined for 15 points and seven rebounds. Becky Luetjen led the Tigers with 14points.

Millsaps was 17-of-53 from the field for 32 percent, they shot 6-18 from three point range and were 16-20 from the foul line. The Majors outshot the Tigers 32 percent to 29 percent from the field.

The Majors look to extend their winning streak to three as they take on Rust College Monday December 13, at 5:00 pm in the Hangar Dome.
