Majors Rout Roo's 62-39

In the first half the Majors jumped out to 5-0 lead thanks to a Janice Okeke layup and a Shatoya White three pointer. The Roos came back and tied the game 5-5. At 16:16, but from there Millsaps went on a 8-0 run and never relinquished the lead, leading by as many as 13 points in the half. The Roo's tried to make a late comeback in the first half cutting the Majors lead to 30-22 as the half expired.

Shante Morton sparked a 10-0 run to open the half giving the Majors a 40-22 with 15:28 remaining as Kristen Salmon completed the old fashioned three point play with a layup and a free throw combination. They would extend the lead as high as 23 as the final minute ticked away thanks to a couple of game ending free throws from Sarah Spann to set the final score at 62-39 Majors.  

The Majors were led by Junior Janice Okeke who had 13 points, and seven rebounds. Shante Morton led the Majors with 8 boards and nine points on the night. Shatoya White, and Lovie Love both had double digits with ten points each. Kersti Marusich led Austin College with 11 on the night.

 Millsaps was 23-of-48 from the field for 48 percent, they shot 6-11 from three point range and were 10-24 on from the foul line. The Majors outshot the Roos 48 percent to 30 percent from the field.

The Majors will look to remain undefeated in the SCAC as they take on conference rival Colorado College Sunday December 5, at noon in the Hangar Dome.
