SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Ceylan Bodur scored a game-high 17 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and dished out a team-high five assists to lead the Swarthmore College women's basketball team (4-1, 2-0) to its fourth-consecutive win, as the Garnet got past the McDaniel Green Terror (0-4, 0-2 CC) 75-66 on Tuesday night in Tarble Pavilion.

The win marks the first time the Garnet has won four straight games since 2002, when a 22-8 Garnet squad would win as many as six straight games.

Bodur was lights out for the Garnet, shooting 6-for-13 from the field and pulling dow 10 rebounds to record her first double-double of the season. 

Senior Kathryn Stockbower would put on yet another stellar, double-double performance as she would drop 13 points and pull down 13 rebounds. The double-double is Stockbower's fourth of the season and 68th of her career.

Swarthmore would lead for most of the first half before McDaniel would put together a small run to knot up the score at 18 with 7:32 to play in the half. The tie wouldn't last as a Bodur layup would spark a 10-2 Garnet run that would give Swarthmore an eight point lead, its largest of the half.

The Green Terror would climb back to get within four to go into halftime trailing 34-30.

McDaniel came out surging in the second half and would fight back to take its second and largest lead of the game, going up 50-47 with 11:18 to play. The Garnet would erase its deficit quickly after Stockbower would create a three point play off of a layup and free thow to tie it up followed by a Bodur three-pointer would give the Garnet back the lead. 

From there Swarthmore would go on a 13-3 lead to regain its eight point lead and force the Green Terror to take a timeout.

Soon enough the Garnet lead would reach 11 and McDaniel wouldn't get within six for the remainder of play.

Freshman Katie Lytle was clutch down the stretch for Swat, going three-for-four from the field in the final nine minutes.  Lytle would also hit five-of-six from the line an finished with 11 points.

Junior Genny Pezzola and freshman Kayla Moritzky would combine for 12 with six points apiece.

McDaniel's Meredith Larson and Rachael Rybak would each post 13 points.

Swarthmore returns to Conference action on Thursday December 2 when it travels to Muhlenberg.  Play is set to begin at 7:30 PM.
