Duncan Leads GC Over E&H

Danielle Duncan had 26 points and eight rebounds as Greensboro College (3-0) won at Emory & Henry, 75-46, on Sunday afternoon.

Duncan scored 22 points in the first half as GC managed a 39-25 lead at the break. For the game, the junior post player was 10-16 from the field.

Pride guard Nikki Wilborn added 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists for The Pride. Bianca Richburg tallied nine points and freshman Jada Alvarado had nine boards, and four steals.

GC won the battle of the boards 66-36. The visitors shot 48 percent (27-56) from the field and held the Wasps to 30-percent (10-33) shooting. The Pride forced 20 turnovers, which resulted in 19 points.

Ashlyn Baird recorded 13 points for E&H (1-1).

Greensboro College plays next at Piedmont College on Nov. 27.
