Saint Vincent's Gales named D3Hoops.com All-Region, NABC Alll-District

The accolades continue to roll in for Saint Vincent College sophomore Jaden Gales after his stellar season for the Saint Vincent College men's basketball team.

Already named the 2023-24 Presidents' Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player, Gales has added two more honors, as he was named All-Region by D3Hoops.com, and All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

In the recently completed 2023-24 campaign, Gales averaged 17.8 points and 7.5 rebounds for the Bearcats, along with a team-best 32 blocked shots. He scored in double figures in 23 of 26 games on the season, including 12 games with 20 more more points, and five with 25 or more.

The power forward also grabbed at least seven rebounds in 17 different games and recorded six double-doubles, highlighted by a 30-point, 13-rebound effort in an overtime win over Benedictine on Dec. 22, and a 24-point, 11-rebound performance in a win over Bethany on Feb. 7.

The 2022-23 PAC Newcomer of the Year and ECAC Rookie of the Year, Gales concluded his sophomore season with 927 career points (17.5 pts/g) and 395 rebounds (7.5 reb/g), while he boasts a .479 career field goal percentage.

The NABC All-District teams were voted upon by a panel of NCAA Division III coaches from across the U.S., while the D3Hoops.com All-Region accolades were selected by a committee of athletic communication professionals.

Gales was the lone player from the PAC named to the D3Hoops.com All-Region and NABC All-District teams, and will now be placed on the ballot for D3Hoops.com and NABC All-America.
