HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Fifth-year Ryan Clements (Conyers, GA) scored 16 points, including 4-4 free throws over the final 21-seconds, and senior Davidson Hubbard (Charlotte, NC) added a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, to lead nationally-ranked No. 6 Hampden-Sydney College to a 64-58 non-conference home win past Salisbury (MD) University on Saturday afternoon in S. The visiting Sea Gulls dropped to 8-6 overall and were led by Jordan Oates with a game-high 19 points, while Reed Rebstock added a double-double, as well, with 17 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

"Found a way to get it done today coming off of break," said fifth-year head coach Caleb Kimbrough. "We didn't make shots that usually fall for us, but our defense and rebounding carried us through as it always does. Really loved seeing so many members of the community in attendance!"

Playing its final game of the calendar year at home in front of a supportive crowd of 602, H-SC used an 18-2 run to take a 23-7 advantage midway through the opening half with 10:16 on the clock.
