The visiting Highlanders used their size early to a small lead over the Wolves, but that would be short-lived. A rebound and layup by Mason VanDeMortel pulled the game back to within one at 13:57. The senior followed with a three to give the Wolves the lead and Alijah Ellis (Portsmouth, Va. / Indian River / Fork Union Military Academy) had a put-back basket to force Houghton into a timeout. The break did not help the Highlanders as Mac Creek had a personal 8-0 run and another timeout was called by Houghton. In total, Keuka scored 17 unanswered in four minutes to build a 25-11 lead. The pressure by Keuka continued as Cam Banks (Titusville, Fla. / Space Coast) forced a steal near midcourt and found Ellis for the dunk. The Wolves kept the lead in double figures the rest of the half and carried a 46-30 lead into halftime.

Houghton made the opening basket of the second half, but Keuka College put the game away after. The Wolves scored 16 straight and held Houghton off the board for over five minutes to take a 30-point lead, 62-32. The defense was big for the Green and Gold as they forced a season-high 21 turnovers on 17 steals that led to 28 points for the Wolves.
