THE BASICS
Brandeis 66, Rhode Island College 51
Brandeis (2-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half was uneventful as both teams shot under 30 percent from the field.

• After the Judges took a six-point lead late in the first half, sophomore guard Isaiah Dahl (Cornelius, Ore.) knocked down a three-point shot while being fouled, then sank the subsequent free throw, to close out the first half all tied at 19-19.

• The offense woke up in the second half, especially for Brandeis senior guard Sam Adusei (Worcester, Mass.), as he went 4-for-5 from three-point range and accrued 16 points in the second half alone.

• RIC went on a 9-0 run midway through the second half to take a 33-32 lead, but Brandeis would go on a 14-4 run just minutes later to reclaim a nine-point advantage.

• The Judges held a double-digit advantage over the final minutes to pick up the win.

• Senior guard KJ Uga (Hyde Park, Mass.) totaled 11 points and five rebounds.
