It was a slow start to the game between the Mavericks and the Wolves with the game sitting tied at 11-11 eight minutes into play. The two teams traded baskets but would be tied 13-13 with nine minutes left in the first half. Scoring picked up as Mason VanDeMortel (Newark, N.Y. / Newark) hit a three for the Wolves, but it was followed by a three for the Mavericks. The lead would change hands 10 times in the first half and be tied nine. Keuka College would push a quick 7-0 run within a minute as Lorenzo Bicknese (Somers, N.Y. / Somers) hit a three and Devin Milton quickly followed with a pair of jumpers to give the Wolves a 35-31 lead. However, Medaille would score the final four points of the half as it stood tied 35-35 after 20 minutes.

The same theme prevailed in the second half as the lead changed nine more times in the second half. A three by Ezeke Pulliam (Knox, N.Y. / Berne-Knox-Westerlo) gave Keuka a lead, but it was quickly answered with a tying three. Then Mason VanDeMortel hit another three as Keuka regained the lead, but the Mavericks would score five straight to take the lead right back. The back-and-forth nature continued throughout the frame. A three by Lorenzo Bicknese drew the game back to level at 65-65 with 5:45 left in regulation. After trading the lead, Medaille strung four straight together to take a 70-67 lead. A layup by Milton cut it back to one, but the Mavericks responded with another 5-0 run to extend their lead to six points, 75-69 with 1:21 left to play. The Wolves cut the margin down to three with nine seconds left, but Medaille made their final free throws to defeat Keuka 78-73.
