ANNVILLE, Pa. – Collin Jones and Luis Garcia combined for 49 points and 16 rebounds to power the Lebanon Valley men's basketball team to a huge 102-77 victory over Messiah University on Saturday afternoon in the season finale for both teams.

LVC got off to a great start as Gracia and Kyle Tang assisted on three-pointers by Evan Smith. Tang hit a layup with just under 17 minutes on the clock to give the Dutchmen a 10-2 lead and force the Falcons to call their first timeout. Messiah came out of the timeout and cut the lead down to 14-10. A three-pointer made it a two-point game at 15-13 before LVC received jumpers from Jones and Tang. Messiah used an 8-0 run midway through the half to take their first lead of the game at 24-22. The teams would battle the rest of the half with neither team able to take more than a five-point advantage. Messiah hit a jumper right at the buzzer to take a 45-44 lead into the half.

The game was tied at 51 before Smith knocked down a three and then Antonio Redding stole the ball and found Jones underneath for two points. The lead was still at five with 13 minutes to go when Garcia hit a pair of jumpers and then found Smith open for another three to make it 68-59. The Dutchmen saw success at the free throw line to increase the lead up to 14 at 74-60 with 8:30 remaining. LVC kept the pressure on the Falcons and increased the lead to 22 points on a Jacob Montgomery three with 1:26 left.

Inside the Box Score

• Jones recorded his 31st career double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds. He finished the regular season second in the MAC Commonwealth in points and rebounds and is the only one to average a double-double.
• Garcia finished his career strong with 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
• Redding had 17 points and three assists while Smith knocked down five threes for 15 points.
• Tang was the fifth Dutchman with double-digit points with 13 and three assists.
• Ryan Harder pulled down seven rebounds.
• The 102 points are the third most in program history and the most since 2008 when the Dutchmen reach triple digits three times in a span of six games starting with 108 points against Penn State Harrisburg.
