Wolves Lose on the Road at Alfred

ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost on the road at Alfred University 106-68 on Tuesday night.

Will Tehan (Victor, N.Y. / Victor) led Keuka College (1-13, 1-5 Empire 8) with 16 points. Mason VanDeMortel (Newark, N.Y./ Newark) added 15 points in the loss.

Tuesday started with the two teams trading baskets in a tight open to the Empire 8 game. Alfred took the lead, but the Wolves kept it close. A three by Kobe Schriver (Hooper, Utah / Roy) cut the deficit to three, 14-11, early in the game. Back-to-back threes by Alfred widened the margin. The Saxons pushed their lead to double-digits. The Wolves battled, knocking down six threes in the half, but Alfred led 53-36 at the half.

The Saxons maintained their advantage in the second half. Will Tehan led the Wolves with 10 points in the half and Evan Hauser (Westfield, N.Y. / Westfield Academy) added seven. Alfred University continued onto the 106-68 victory.
