LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's basketball team shot over 50 percent for the fifth time in the last seven contests, storming past visiting Aurora en route to a seventh straight victory.

The contest got off to a slow start
Collin Mergl recorded a layup with 14:59 to play in the first, giving Benedictine the lead for good
Four different players scored as part of an 11-0 run that enabled Benedictine to lead 20-5 with 10:22 remaining following a three-pointer from Kyle Graebner
Aurora, who did not have a player reach double figures, battled within six points late, but Kyle Graebner hit back-to-back threes during a 10-0 run to close the half as Benedictine led 42-23 at the break
The run continued into the second as Benedictine netted the first eight points to lead 50-23 on another three from Graebner
Eric Grygo dropped in a layup to stretch the lead to 30 points at 54-24 with 14:25 left as Benedictine continued to pull away, cruising to the win
