The Wolves took the lead in the opening minutes, but Cazenovia would take control and lead throughout the half. The Wildcats led by as many as 10 in the half, but the Wolves kept the game within reach. Kyle Coffin (Newark Valley, N.Y. / Newark Valley) cut the lead to 20-16 as the freshman guard stole the ball and converted the fast-break layup. The Wildcats responded with a three as Cazenovia relied on the deep ball all half. Overall, Cazenovia shot 8-16 from deep and led by nine, 42-33, at the half.

The teams traded baskets early, but Cazenovia extended their lead to 52-38 with 16 minutes left to play. Keuka called a timeout, but prior to the huddle, a technical was called against the Wolves. Cazenovia made both free throws and was fouled again on the ensuing possession and drained the pair again to make it 81-76. Overall, the Wildcats were a perfect 10-10 from the line in the second as they held on to defeat the Wolves 87-80.

  • Keuka College attacked the glass strong. The Wolves were +13 in rebounding and collected 20 offensive rebounds. Those led to 20 second-chance points
  • Devin Milton set a new career-high in rebounding. It was the first double-double for a Keuka player since James Barnes did it last season
  • The Wolves shot 10-12 from line for 83.3%, the best of the season for the Green and Gold
