Andre Harris scored 24 points in 23 minutes and the Baruch College Bearcats limited the visiting Hunter College Hawks to 31 percent shooting to record a 71-50 CUNYAC home win in the Battle of Lexington on Thursday night.

The Bearcats jumped out to a 41-27 halftime lead and kept the momentum going in the second half en route to recording their 14th straight home win.

They also assuresthemselves of a top two finish in the CUNYAC regular season standings, as they can finish no lower than second place with two games remaining.

As a result, the Bearcats will host a CUNYAC semifinal contest as the higher seed on Wednesday, February 20. Exact details will be announced upon the conclusion of the regular season.

Harris finished tonight with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. William Sixsmith was the other lone double-figure scorer with 10 points and three steals.

George Keener led the Hawks with 15 points.
