Birmingham-Southern Dominates Pensacola Christian 102-70

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team rolled past Pensacola Christian on Monday night, taking down the Eagles 102-70.

With the win, the Panthers improved to 3-1 on the season.

Six BSC players scored in double-digits, led by freshman guard Troy Stephens (Atlanta, Ga./St. Pius X Catholic HS) and junior guard Cole DenBesten (Orlando, Fla./Berry College) with 14 points each.

Senior guard Zachary Allison (Pelham, Ala./Wallace State CC) led the Panthers with nine assists and junior guard Calvin Bak (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals HS) led the team with three steals.

Birmingham-Southern will hit the road for the remainder of November before returning to the Hilltop for the opening game of the Black Tie Classic on Thursday, Dec. 13. The Panthers next matchup will be against Penn State-Altoona in LaGrange, Ga., on Saturday, Nov. 24.
