HOBOKEN, NJ – In a rematch of a triple-overtime game two weeks ago at Lambros, host Stevens Institute of Technology defeated Hartwick's men's basketball team 85-66 on Saturday at Canavan Arena in Hoboken, NJ. The Hawks fall to 7-10 overall and 4-4 in Empire 8 play. The Ducks improve to 15-4 and 9-1 in league play and remain at the top of the standings.

A 13-0 Stevens run to start the second half broke the game open. A Brandon LaForest (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) trey closed the deficit to 12 points with 12:53 left to play, but the Ducks netted the next 10 points and the Hawks never managed to close the gap to less than 19 the rest of the way.
