Baruch Earns Big Road Win at Staten Island

The Baruch College Bearcats won their fifth straight CUNYAC contest by defeating the College of Staten Island, 78-71, on Wednesday night.

The visiting Bearcats ended the final five minutes by scoring 15 of the final 22 points and received a big boost from the bench the entire game with 32 total points (Staten Island only 4 points) to also go on to record their fourth straight road win.

Allen Villar came off the bench to net 14 points, while Anthony Gibbs had 13 points and William Sixsmith 12 points.
 
One of the key stats of the evening was three-pointers with the Bearcats hitting 8-of-18, while the hosts only 3-of-17. 

The victory helps the team get closer to the top of the conference standings in third place with six games left in the regular season.
