Pomona, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team won their fifth straight game tonight as they surpassed the Ospreys of Stockton University, 81-67 behind 18 points from Christopher Moseley.  Ramapo fought back from a slow start to take the NJAC victory and improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference.
 
Moseley shot 7-10 from the floor and 4-6 from the charity stripe collecting a team leading 18 points in the win.  He pulled down six rebounds and grabbed three steals as the Roadrunners hit a combined 27-66 (41%) from the floor.  Ramapo scored 36 points in the paint and 20 off turnovers as they forced 21 Osprey turnovers. Thomas Bonacum and Josh Ford each netted 13 points in the win and Patrick Peterson added ten while James Long dished out a team leading five assists.
 
Stockton (4-4 overall, 0-3 NJAC) opened the game on an 11-0 run, sparked and capped by Kashaun Barnes, but the Roadrunners quickly responded with an 11-0 run of their own to tie the game with 11:32 to play in the half.  Moseley would spark the run with a free throw and cap off the run with a layup.  The Ospreys would take back the lead for a brief two minutes but a three-pointer from Peterson would put Ramapo back on top, 17-13 and the team would close out the half working to a ten-point, 40-30 advantage at the buzzer.  Moseley led the Roadrunners with 12 first half points and the team shot 13-35 (37%). 
 
In the second, the Roadrunners would climb to their biggest lead of the game (21) on three separate occasions, the first at 10:26 when Nick Stanek laid in a two-point goal to take a 62-41 lead.  Under a minute later Moseley would sink two free throws to put Ramapo ahead 64-43, and with 8:23 left in the game, Long would take advantage of a two-shot foul to go ahead, 67-46.  The Ospreys would threaten as they came within eight with just over two minutes to go but Ramapo proved to be too much closing out the game on a 7-1 run to take the NJAC win, 81-67.  Ford put away 11 points in the final half as Ramapo hit a combined 14-31 (45%).
 
Barnes led the Ospreys with 23 points and Steve Ferebee collected 19 as the team went 23-63 (37%) from the floor.  Ferebee pulled down eight rebounds and Barnes dished out four assists.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, December 6^th when they host Rutgers Newark at 7:30pm at the Bradley Center.
