Greencastle, Ind. -- The DePauw men's basketball team lost to Wooster on Saturday 111-104 in double overtime, suffering their fourth straight NCAC loss.

The Tigers could not rally behind Luke Lattner's 43 points, which tied the fourth highest single scoring game in school history. Lattner made 10 field goals and was 21-of-26 from the free throw line, which was a record in makes and attempts.

Yet, the Tigers were without their leading scorer for the final 42 seconds as Lattner picked up his fifth foul late. Trailing 107-104, DePauw had their best chance to extend the game their next trip down the floor. However, a 3-pointer from Ethan Jarrett was just off, and Wooster hit their free throws to conclude the game.

Four other Tigers reached double figures. Jack VandeMerkt posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Nate Jahn had 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Jarrett scored 13 off the bench and James Clarke followed with 12.

Wooster was led by Dan Fanelly and Reece Dupler, who both scored 25 points. Spencer Williams added 23 for the Fighting Scots.

DePauw shot 46 percent from the floor (32-of-70) compared to Wooster's 45 percent mark (37-of-82). Both teams shot a whopping 41 free throws, DePauw connecting on 32 of theirs (78 percent) and Wooster connecting on 34 of theirs (83 percent).

Wooster outrebounded the Tigers 44-41 and dominated the paint with 62 points. Wooster also scored 14 second chance points, 17 points off turnovers and 10 fast break points.

DePauw scored 38 points in the paint, seven points off turnovers and had 0 points in transition. They outscored the Wooster bench 30-20.

DePauw now moves to 9-10 overall and 5-7 in the North Coast Athletic Conference for sixth place. Wooster improves to 13-6 and 10-2 in conference play.

The Tigers return to action on Feb. 3 when they travel to Allegheny.
