How It Happened

  • Rosemont trailed for only a short time in the game, down a point with 17:07 left in the first half. A Kyle Lafferty layup 37 seconds later gave the Ravens a 6-5 lead, and the visitors were off-and-running. Rosemont put together a 10-0 run to grab a 12-5 lead after a dunk from Marcus Thomas with 15:16 left in the half. Holding a 20-15 lead, the defenses took over, and neither team would score for the next 3:55, when a Thomas jumper put the Ravens ahead 22-15 with 7:40 left in the half.
  • The Ravens would slowly expand their margin as the period would down, and Rosemont would outscore the Pacers 23-15 the rest of the half to grab a 45-30 lead going into the halftime break.
  • A jumper by Thomas only 14 seconds into the 2nd half would start the scoring in the 2nd half. The Ravens would up their lead to their largest, 24 points at 60-45 with 9:41 remaining in the game after a couple of free throws were converted by Khai Roberts. From that point the ultimate result of the game was no longer in question, but the stats that would be put up by Rosemont's Marcus Thomas and Marywood's Connor Callejas would be the most interesting thing to follow as the game wound down.
