Franklin Loses to Rose-Hulman

Franklin, Ind. - Junior Aaron Mann (Indianapolis, Ind./Howe) scored 24 points to lead the Franklin College men's basketball team in a 76-63 loss to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action on Wednesday.

Mann led the Grizzlies with 24 points and seven rebounds. He also added three steals.

Junior John Beineke (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian) added 11 points. Junior Trey Boles (Carrollton, Ky./Carroll County) scored nine points off the bench.

Franklin used an 18-8 run over the final 7:17 of the first half to cut the deficit to 12 points, 41-29, at halftime. Rose-Hulman opened the second half on a 16-4 run to secure the victory.

Franklin returns to action on Saturday, February 6, at 4 p.m. when it travels to Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio. Live video and statistics of the game will be available.
