POULTNEY, Vt. – The University of Maine at Farmington men's basketball team (0-6, 0-3) had four players tally double figures on Saturday evening, but North Atlantic Conference-leading Green Mountain College (6-1, 3-0) came away with an 88-75 conference win at the Eagle Dome.

Nick Hilton (Wilton, Maine/Mt. Blue) recorded back-to-back 20-point performances as the senior went for 22 points and nine rebounds against the Eagles. Hilton shot 7-of-12 from the floor and made 8-of-9 attempts from the free throw line. Ryan Camire (Acton, Maine/Sanford) set a new career-high with 16 points, recorded five rebounds, and one steal. Eric Berry (Weld, Maine/Mt. Blue) added 14 points for the Beavers and Ryan Rice had a solid game with 10 points and five assists.

Green Mountain's starters stole the show as four members of the opening lineup registered double digits. Mychal Parker matched Hilton with 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds, dished five assists, and swatted away four shots. Jared Carithers was only a bucket away from overtaking Hilton and

Parker as the guard finished with 21 points and every point came from beyond the arc. Cameron Anderson added 11 points for the Eagles and Javier Lugris contributed 10 points.

The Beavers outscored the Eagles in bench points and second chance opportunities, but Green Mountain used 28 points off turnovers and assisted 22 of the team's 36 field goals in the contest to steal the victory.
