The Chargers improve to 19-6 overall and will make a fourth trip to the NCAA Tournament. Husson drops to 20-7 and will likely play in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament game next week.

In similar fashion to Friday night's thrilling victory over Castleton, the Chargers found themselves down seven at the half, 37-30.

The Chargers held a 10-point lead with 7:53 to play in the first, but Husson finished the frame on a 21-4 run and did not allow a Colby-Sawyer field goal in that span. The Eagles also took advantage of nine Colby-Sawyer miscues to hold a 16-5 edge in points off turnovers in the first 20 minutes.

Colby-Sawyer's offense was clicking as soon as they came out of the lockerroom. The Chargers, who shot 55.2 percent in the second half, opened the stanza on a 14-6 run to re-take a 44-43 lead with 14:38 on the clock.

The teams would go back-and-forth over the next few minutes, before the Chargers used a 13-2 run capped by a three-point play by senior Mike Dias (Carver, Mass.), to take a 63-51 lead. The advantage then ballooned to 16 after a Zach Bean(Scarborough, Maine) tip-in with 5:37 left in the game. Husson responded with six straight points, four from senior Aaron Willis (Long Island, N.Y.) and a bucket from junior Trevon Butler (Waterbury, Conn.), but could not shrink the deficit to less than 10.
Colby-Sawyer was strong at the line down the stretch and made 10 free throws in the final 1:25 to put the game away 86-73.

Colby-Sawyer's Wol Majong, who was named tournament MVP, scored 22 points. After he was stricken with foul trouble in the first and scored seven, he was able to stay on the floor in the second to score 15 points. Mike Dias, who was named to the all-tournament team, finished with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Junior Peter Donato (Portland, Maine) recorded his second straight double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, while senior Koang Thok(Portland, Maine) made 10-of-13 free throws to finish with 22 points.

Trevon Butler was named to the all-tournament team after scoring a game-high 27 points for Husson. He was 11-of-20 from the floor and grabbed a team best nine rebounds. Aaron Willis finished with 19 points and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. Sophomore Raheem Anderson (Miramar, Fla.) was the third Eagle to reach double figures with 17.
