HANCOCK - The Calvin men's basketball team claimed an 82-68 victory at Finlandia University Saturday afternoon inside the Paavo Nurmi Events Center.

Calvin (7-4) held a commanding a 48-33 rebounding advantage in the win and led 41-25 at halftime. Finlandia (6-9) closed to within six at 46-40 but the Knights responded with a 13-3 run to put the game away.

Senior Jordan Brink led the Knights with 20 points and nine rebounds while senior Tyler Dykstra racked up a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Austin Parks and freshman Connor VanderBrug added 10 points apiece while senior T.J. Huizenga had a season-high eight points off the bench.

Brandon Robinette, Jordan LaPlant and Marcus Geralds all had 16 points for the host Lions.

Calvin will now break until January 7 when it hosts Alma at 6 p.m. at Van Noord Arena.
