KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today that a record 895 student-athletes from 335 colleges and university across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as NAIA Division I or II were named to the NABC Honors Court for excelling in academics over the 2013-14 season. From Endicott, rising senior forwardsMatt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Tell White (New Castle, N.H.) were among the seven representatives from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) to be recognized.

The NABC Honors Court lists all collegiate student-athletes who meet the high standard of academic criteria which includes being academically a junior or senior and a varsity player, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year, having matriculated at least one year at their current institution, and be a member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.

Kneece, a senior athletic training student with a cumulative 3.26 GPA, averaged 3.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game in 2013-14. He appeared in 26 of Endicott's 28 games last season, averaging just under 14 minutes per contest. Off the court, Kneece has completed internships with All-Access Physical Therapy and Fitness Academy, assisted the Doctor of Fitness Elite Summer Strength & Conditioning Program, and fulfilled athletic training hours with the Endicott Athletic Training Department.

White, a senior marketing major with a cumulative 3.29 GPA, scored 5.2 points, grabbed 4.4 rebounds, and dished out 1.2 assists in nearly 18 minutes played per game. White appeared in 27 of Endicott's 28 games in 2013-14. White, a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, transferred into Endicott after playing one season at St. Lawrence.
