With the win, Fisher improves to 5-4 overall, while the Terriers fall to 2-7 on the season.

Fisher drained 13 3-pointers in the game's opening 27 minutes, including a career-high seven from junior Adam Ambielli, who finished with a game-high 23 points.  

The Cardinals never trailed in the game, leading 8-6 five minutes into the contest, and went on a 13-2 run over the next five minutes to take a double-digit lead for good, and held a 40-19 advantage at halftime.

After a layup by the Terriers on the opening possession of the second half, Fisher responded with a 10-0 run, capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Ambielli.

Thomas was able claw away at the deficit in the closing minutes of the game, but were outscored 45-31 in the closing stanza.

Overall, the Terriers were held to an uncharacteristic 31.2% (20-64) from the field, while the Cardinals went 31-61 (50.8%). The hosts also held a 52-32 edge in rebounds in the victory.

Thomas will return to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play to kick off the second semester schedule on Tuesday, January 7 as they host in-state rival University of Maine at Farmington. Tipoff scheduled for 5:30pm.
