Trinity Men's Basketball Loses To Mass.-Boston In Harbor Classic Finals

Boston, Mass. – Tournament MVP Mike Mitchell, Jr. (Dorchester, Mass.) led the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons to a 76-60 win over the Trinity College Bantams this afternoon to win the 28th Annual Harbor Invitational in the Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium. Trinity, which had won the Harbor Classic the two previous seasons, drops to 2-3. The Beacons, who have not hoisted the championship trophy since 2005, improve to 3-2.

Mitchell earned the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award after dropping eight points, while also handing out six assists. Trinity freshman forward Shay Ajayi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the all-tournament team after dropping in a team-best 15 points and pulling down eight boards. Sophomore Hart Gliedman (New York, N.Y.) added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Bantams.
