MILWAUKEE - Wisconsin Lutheran College senior forward Alex Merbach (Kaukauna, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) became the 18th men's basketball player in school history to score at least 1,000 career points when the Warriors were defeated by Marian University 60-59 on Wednesday, February 8 at the Sadoff Gymnasium in Fond du Lac, Wis.

Merbach entered Wednesday's Northern Athletics Conference contest needing 25 points to reach the milestone.
