MADISON, Wis. – Some nights a team may not be shooting well from the field and they will need to rely on other parts of their game to earn the win. The Edgewood College men's basketball team relied on their defense to bail them out of a poor shooting night against Rockford College. The Eagles needed their defense to hold off late Regent rally as they missed the game-winning shot with three seconds left to give Edgewood College the 61-60 victory.

The Eagles (12-3, 6-1 NAC) held what seemed to be a commanding 61-53 lead with 1:32 remaining, but the Regents made a comeback.
