Boston, MA: The Ramapo College men's basketball team opened up the 2011-2012 season with a 78-31 win on the road at Emerson College (0-1).

Will Sanborn led the Roadrunners (1-0) with 17 points as he was 7-12 from the field and 3-6 behind the three point line while he dished uot six assists. LaQuan Peterkin posted 12 points and six total rebounds as he went 6-9 from the field. Rich Grant added nine points while Stephon Treadwell, Jermaine Emanuel and Garret Thiel each posted seven points of their own.

Ramapo pulled down 40 rebounds while they recorded 15 steals and eight blocks. The team shot 56% from the field and 47% from the charity stripe on the night.
