Gwynedd-Mercy Advances To CSAC Championship with 85-65 Semifinal Win Over Keystone

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Behind a career-high 27 points from Jon Crabtree, Gwynedd-Mercy advanced to the CSAC Championship game with an 85-65 semifinal win over Keystone Tuesday night.

Jon Hogga added 25 as the second-seeded Griffins (21-5) will play at top-seeded Cabrini on Friday at 7 p.m. in the title game. It will mark Gwynedd's sixth appearance in the conference championship.

Mike Kelly netted 18 for the Giants (21-6) who fell in the semifinal round for the third year in a row.

Crabtree scored 21 of his 27 points in the first half, as the Griffins shot 66% from the floor and 7-of-10 from downtown. GM would lead 50-35 at the break. He would hit five of the team's nine treys on the evening.

Keystone managed to get as close as 12 with 14:07 remaining, but could pull no closer.

Malcom Boone and Kenneth Hardnett each had 13 for the Giants. Hardnett grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

Brandyn Wims added 15 points off the bench for GM while Dan DelConte dished out 10 assists, one shy of his personal best.
