Bearcats Defeat Rival Hunter (68-61), Win CUNYAC North Division Title

The men's basketball team defeated their rival Hunter College Hawks, 68-61, in a CUNYAC road contest on Friday night at the Hunter Sportsplex in New York City.

With the result, the Bearcats (15-10, 9-4 CUNYAC) win the CUNYAC North Division Title in first place and clinch third place in the overall CUNYAC standings.

The #3-seeded Bearcats will next host a CUNYAC Tournament quarterfinal round contest at home in the ARC Arena on Sunday, February 20th, against the #6-seed (Opponent and Time TBA). 

The CUNYAC Athletic Conference will announce the entire championship tournament schedule on Monday night, February 14.  

Chris Beauchampled the visiting Bearcats this evening with 29 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range. Sean Loftusnarrowly missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Lionel Hilairerounded out the double-figure scorers this evening for Baruch with 12 points.

Anthony Uter led Hunter College (12-12, 7-5 CUNYAC) with 16 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots.
