Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team fell to 10-9 on the season, having their two-game winning streak snapped, as visiting Richard Stockton imporved to 12-7, while shooting an astounding 61.3% (38-for-62) from the field, in a 101-82 victory.

Maybe even more impressive than the Ospreys shooting from the field was their shooting from behind the arc, as they went 13-22 (59.1%) for the contest.

Stockton, who led throughout the entire contest, jumped out to a big lead early, as an Ibn Moye three-pointer gave them a 15-4 advantage at the 15:39 mark.

The Bulldogs made a run to get back in the game, as an Amil John cut the deficit to 23-20 with 10:10 remaining in the half.

The Ospreys answered right back, however, to end the half with a 27-9 run, taking a 50-29 lead into the intermission, hitting on 9-15 from long distance in the stanza.  Aside from the outstanding shooting of the road team, Brooklyn could put some of the blame for the halftime deficit on themselves as they shot only 5-13 from the line to that point.

Only 34 seconds into the second half, Stockton claimed their biggest lead of the game as a Moy three and a Diandre Brown dunk gave their team a 26-point advantage, 55-29.

From that point on BC methodically chipped away at the lead, shortening the Stockton advantage to 15, 72-57, on an Ahmad Hemingway bucket with 8:26 remaining, but that was the closest the Bulldogs would get as their comeback attempt would fall short.

Kyle Massaquoi led Stockton with 25 points and eight assists, while Pat Kelly was 5-8 from behind the arc for 15 points on th evening.

Tyshawn Russell and Ahmad Hemingway each had big games for BC as Russell dropped in 27 while Hemingway netted 24.

Brooklyn will remain at home as they host rival Medgar Evers on Wednesday at 7:30 as the second half of a basketball doubleheader in the West Quad Center.
