SELINSGROVE, Pa. (January 21, 2011) - Drew rallied from seven points down in the final 4:21 to earn their third-straight Landmark Conference victory with a 77-72 win over Susquehanna this evening. Asmar Capers (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) finished with a game-high 26 points.

Drew (7-9, 3-3 Landmark) found themselves down seven with 4:21 to play after a layup by Susquehanna's (7-10, 3-3 Landmark) Harvey Parnell. The Rangers then went to the low post to 6-11 center Dylan Bulger (Staten Island, N.Y./Staten Island Academy) to start chipping away at the lead. Bulger would knock down two free throws and exchange baskets with Parnell to pull the Rangers within five.

It was then Dara Mc Keon's (Dunboyne, Ireland/St. Peter's College) turn to get Drew get back in the ball game. Mc Keon hit a pair of free throws with 2:52 on the clock and after a Mike Mayes (Linden, N.J./St. Mary's) free throw, he nailed a three-pointer to put the Rangers up by one with 1:40 remaining in the game.

From there the Ranger defense was able to hold the Crusaders to four points, all coming from the free throw line. Trailing by three, Parnell lined up for the game-tying shot with 19 seconds and had it blocked by Capers who then forced a Susquehanna turnover. Free throws by freshman #Bobby Falconiero (Moorestown, N.J./Bishop Eustace) and Mc Keon in the final seconds helped ice the victory for Drew.

Bulger provided a spark off the bench, chipping in 12 points and three blocks. Mayes was the other Ranger in double figures scoring 12 points, his third-straight game with 10 or more. Terrell Brown (Camden, N.J./Woodrow Wilson) owned the glass, pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds.

The men will continue their Landmark schedule tomorrow when they travel over to Juniata for their final game of the week. Tip-off is set for 2:00 in Huntingdon, Pa.
