Auggies shoot past Ole men

MINNEAPOLIS - Augsburg College had seven players with at least nine points in a 92-74 MIAC men's basketball win over St. Olaf, offsetting a 21-point effort from the Oles' Nathan Kuck off the bench.

The Auggies (7-3, 2-3 MIAC) shot 56.4 percent from the floor, including a 7-for-13 performance from the three-point line in the first half on the way to a 49-38 lead at the break.

Andy Siedlitz had a team-high 15 points for Augsburg off the bench, while Cory Polta and Matthew Quammen had 14 each.

Tucker Sheley added 16 and four assists and Bobby Fong 15 and five assists for St. Olaf, which has lost four in a row after starting the season with six wins.
