KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University men's basketball team made a clean sweep of its weekend road trip to Upstate New York as the Bison came away with two North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victories. GU (5-2, 2-0 NEAC) put away Keuka College (0-7, 0-4) early en route to a 73-60 win on Sunday at the Weed Physical Arts Center.

Junior forward Layton Seeber (Champaign, Ill.) led the way with 21 points, a game-high, to go with seven rebounds and seven assists. Sophomore guard Joshua Sisco (Spartanburg, S.C.) chipped in 17 points while junior guard Tony Tatum (Gardendale, Ala.) added 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Keuka was paced by Diamond Booker's double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Putter Brown (14 points) and Teddy Tuggles (10 points) also reached double figures for the Storm.

The two teams struggled with their shooting in the first half as the Bison shot 29.4 percent from the field while Keuka made 25.8 percent of its shots. GU sophomore forward Danny Kelly (Strongsville, Ohio) made a bucket to give the Bison an 11-9 lead at the 13:51 mark in the first half. The Bison never trailed again as they took a 29-22 lead into halftime. In the second half, both teams warmed up but Gallaudet held a nice 57.1 percent to 41.2 percent advantage.

The five wins match the win total the Bison recorded last season. The two conference wins this weekend are two more than GU had last year.

The Bison will next be in action on Wednesday, December 8, at home against NEAC foe Penn St.-Abington at 7 p.m.
